HostHub is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) property management system designed for guesthouses and small to medium-sized accommodation providers. The platform helps property owners manage bookings, room availability, staff tasks, and operational analytics from a single browser-based system. The system synchronizes booking calendars using iCalendar (ICS) feeds from platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com to prevent double bookings and provide real-time availability tracking. Administrators can configure property details, manage rooms, monitor bookings, assign tasks to staff, and track operational performance through visual analytics dashboards. HostHub also includes Ruby, an integrated AI chatbot assistant, which helps users navigate the platform and access features quickly. Built using React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, the platform supports secure authentication, POPIA-compliant data management, and cross-device accessibility, helping independent accommodation providers digitally transform their hospitality operations.
