Research summary

Project overview

The Project Collaboration Portal (PCP) is a web-based platform developed to help North-West University students collaborate effectively on group projects. The system provides a centralized environment where students, project leaders, and supervisors can plan tasks, share documents, communicate, and track project progress. Users can create projects, assign tasks to team members, schedule meetings, and upload files related to their work. The platform also includes real-time messaging and chat features, allowing team members to discuss project updates and coordinate activities easily. Notifications alert users when new tasks, messages, or updates occur. Supervisors can monitor project progress and track individual contributions, helping ensure accountability within group work. Built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, and C#, the portal simplifies collaboration, improves communication, and helps project teams stay organized and meet deadlines.
