Research summary

Project overview

TechTrio is an AI-powered smart irrigation system designed to help farmers monitor environmental conditions and automate irrigation decisions. The system collects real-time data from field sensors, including soil moisture, temperature, and humidity, to determine when crops require watering. Using IoT devices and TinyML models running on embedded hardware, the platform analyzes sensor data and automatically activates or disables irrigation pumps based on crop needs. This ensures efficient water usage while maintaining optimal soil conditions for crop growth. Farmers can monitor system activity through a web-based dashboard that displays real-time sensor readings, irrigation status, alerts, and historical data. The system also generates notifications for important events such as sensor failures or irrigation activation. Built with technologies such as Raspberry Pi, ESP32 microcontrollers, MQTT communication, and machine learning models, TechTrio provides a scalable solution for precision agriculture and sustainable farming practices.
